The One Room Schoolhouse Museum which is located next to the Lewis Round Barn, is excited to announce that we are holding a raffle. The Adams County Fair Board enabled us to set up a booth during the Fair to help us raise funds to pay for ongoing costs of the Schoolhouse Museum.
Two unique items are being raffled! First is a beautiful wall-hanging quilt measuring 4 ft. 8 in. by 4 ft. made by Jeanette Brickman, a retired Home Economics teacher. This quilt is owned by Sara Husemann who graciously donated this quilt for the raffle. On the quilt are scenes that would be typical at a one room schoolhouse. The second raffle item is for the antique lover! Douglas Willimann has donated a 1920's era GE brass bladed electric desk fan that he restored. Both of the raffle items would look great in your home or den. Please view the attached pictures of the two items being raffled for the support of the One Room Schoolhouse Museum. Tickets will be sold all week at our booth at the Adams County Fair during the week of July 26th - August 1st, 2023. Prices are 1 ticket for $5 or 3 tickets for $10. Come see us at the Fair! |
