The Adams County Fair recognized a local child with a special award on Wednesday, July 24th during the Little Miss and Mister Pageant.
The ‘Be Like Grace’ Award was established to remember and honor Grace Schell, the 2011 Little Miss Adams County Fair. She died in a tragic atv accident in 2020. She was known in the Liberty area as a girl who was kind to everyone she met. The “Be Like Grace” award recognizes a special contestant who shows kindness to other children or contestants around her. The 2024 “Be Like Grace” award was given to 5 year-old Maelynn Lucille Gosney. She is the daughter of Andrew and Lexie of Ursa. Congratulations Maelynn! |
