The Adams County Fair Board is proud to welcome two country music icons to the 2024 Adams County Fair. Grammy Award-winning band Diamond Rio and legendary band Sawyer Brown will both take the stage reveling the crowd with memorable hits coming up on Saturday, July 27th.
Diamond Rio became a household name on the country music scene in 1991, with the release of “Meet in The Middle.” At that time it became the first country music group in history to reach No. 1 with a debut single. The band is also known for their multi-week chart-topper “How Your Love Makes Me Feel,” crossover hit “One More Day,” as well as timeless hits “Beautiful Mess,” “Unbelievable,” “I Believe,” and many more. Amassing numerous accolades throughout the years, the Diamond Rio is a member of the Grand Ole Opry, won six Vocal Group of the Year Awards (four CMA and two ACM), received fourteen Grammy nominations, and won a Grammy Award for their album, The Reason. Just as impressive is the band Sawyer Brown, which will join Diamond Rio on the Adams County Fair stage this summer. Sawyer Brown has earned its place as one of the premier live acts in country music. The group has performed more than 6000 shows, released 23 albums and boasts a multitude of CMA, ACM, and CMT awards. Described as “the Rolling Stones of Country Music,” the band boasts well-known hits like “Some Girls Do,” “The Race is On,” and “Thank God for You.” “We are excited to have these famous bands all on one stage in one big night,” said Melissa Shriver-Hackamack, a Director with the Adams County Fair Board. “The music of Sawyer Brown and Diamond Rio is the soundtrack of country music in the nineties. This concert will be an amazing way to see these country music legends live and in person here in the Tri-States.” Entry into grandstand seating for the concert is free with adult admission to the fair that evening. To get closer to the stage, track seat tickets will also be sold beginning in June. |
