DEPARTMENT F – SHEEP

AMOUNT OFFERED IN THIS DEPARTMENT IS $6,597.00
Animals entered in Dept. F are to be in place by Friday, July 31, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. and will be released on Monday, August 3, 2026 at 8:00 a.m.
Open Sheep Judging - Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 8:00 a.m.
A pen fee of $5.00 and a fee of $5.00 per entry will be charged. No pen to contain more than 4 head.
 
SPECIFIED FOR SAFETY:
If three or more sheep pens are combined into one pen, aisle gates must be firmly supported with posts (supplied by exhibitor) at intervals not exceeding nine feet.
Registration papers (Original or Assn. issued duplicate. No photo copies) for animals to be shown in breeding classes will be checked Friday beginning at Noon.
Registration must show exhibitor’s name as original owner or association approved transfer to exhibitor’s name; corresponding ear tag and/or tattoo on individual animal must be easily legible to Superintendent.
All market wethers and market ewe lambs will be weighed and divided equally by weight into 2 classes as determined by Superintendent.
*Market ewe lambs MAY NOT be exhibited in any other class.
*Commercial or Crossbred ewes MAY be exhibited in AOB Class.
Animals owned in partnership may be shown for only one exhibitor.
There must be 2 or more exhibitors in each breed with nearly complete entries; otherwise, they will show with some other breed at the discretion of the superintendent.
All entries in this department are subject to general rules in front of this book. Please note Rule No. 19.
All Livestock entries, including JR and 4-H Entries MUST BE MADE by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 24, 2026.
1 Fan Per 3 Animals Allowed.
Check entries carefully, if you do not enter at office – Premiums will not be paid.
ANY PERSON DRINKING INTOXICATING LIQUOR IN THE LIVESTOCK BARNS WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE FAIRGROUNDS AND FORFEIT ALL WINNINGS.

Please move Bedding to EAST end of building when done.
Superintendent will assign pens.
