The Adams County Fair Baby Contest was held, Saturday, July 30 inside the Prairieland FS tent inside the Family Fun Zone. More than 65 children participated in this year's event. Children met judges in four age groups: 0-6 months; 7-11 months; one year and two years old.
Here are the Winners: 0-6 Months Age Group 2022 Adams County Fair Baby Boy for Ages 0-6 Months - Westley Brinkman Westley is the son of Austin and Krissy Brinkman of Payson. 2022 Adams County Fair Baby Girl for Ages 0-6 Months - Stella Hunter. Stella is the daughter of Jacob and Lindi Hunter of Quincy. Other winners include: Best Costume - Josie Muegge, daughter of Lynsey Whitaker and Drew Muegge of Quincy Prettiest Eyes - Riley Goehl, Daughter of Morgan and Tyler Goehl of Quincy. - Baby Contest is Saturday, July 30th at noon. (See below for Important Registration Information)
- There is a non-refundable entry fee of $5.00 per child to be paid with registration. A signed waiver is also required to participate.
- Contest will be held in the Prairieland FS Tent inside the Family Fun Zone.
- DAY-OF REGISTRATION ONLY!
- Registration will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Judging will begin at Noon.
- Contestants will be divided into age categories with separate categories for boys and girls.
- Age categories are as follows: newborn to 6 months; 7 month to 11 month, 1 year old division, and 2 year old division.
- Contests are judged on personality, attire, appearance, contentment, and interaction with judges.
- Judges decisions are final.
- Child’s parents must be residents of Adams County.

Children 12 and under are free. If you do not plan to stay all day, you may be stamped at the gate for re-entry later in the evening for the concert. As always, season passes and exhibitors passes are accepted as well.
Don't leave right away!
There are activities in the Family Fun Zone, as well as the "Canines in the Clouds!" Dog Show Saturday afternoon to enjoy following the Baby Contest. Also, get your hand stamped at the gate for re-entry for concert night!
