March 26, 2017 -- The Adams County Fair Board is proud to announce country music duo the Brothers Osborne will headline the 2017 Star Concert at the 76th annual week-long fair.
Brothers Osborne will take the stage rocking the crowd with hits like "Stay a Little Longer" and "Rum," coming up on Saturday, July 29.
Brothers Osborne is an American country music duo composed of brothers T.J. and John Osborne. T.J. is the lead singer and plays rhythm guitar and John plays lead guitar and provides background vocals.
The Osborne siblings strummed their first chords during jam sessions at their home in Deale, Maryland, a small fishing town. From the very start, TJ Osborne was the brother with the voice. He sang in a thick, low baritone, crooning like Johnny Cash long before he was even old enough to drive. Older brother John, on the other hand, was the family's guitar shredder, his fingers capable of down-home bluegrass licks, arena-worthy rock riffs, country twang, and everything in between. Combined, the two Osbornes could play everything from traditional country music to rock & roll, creating a broad, full-bodied sound that would eventually fill the 11 songs on their major-label debut, Pawn Shop.
Grandstand seating for the concert is free with $10 admission to the fair that evening. Track seating tickets are an additional $10 and can be purchased beginning Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Farm and Home Supply in Quincy.
The 2017 Adams County Fair runs from Wednesday, July 26 to Tuesday, August 1 at the fairgrounds located 15 minutes north of Quincy on Highway 336.
